HEAVY FEST: A New Gathering for the Loud, the Low, and the Heavy
Heavy Phuzz Productions and Trickster’s Hideout launch a brand-new festival this November, bringing two nights of sludge, stoner rock, doom, and heavy music to the stage.
There’s something special about a festival built around the heavier side of music. The volume, the low-end rumble, the walls of distortion, and the feeling that everyone in the room is there for the same reason. This November, Heavy Phuzz Productions and Trickster’s Hideout are bringing that energy together for the inaugural HEAVY FEST, a brand-new two-night event celebrating the many shades of heavy music.
Taking place November 20 and 21, HEAVY FEST promises a lineup that moves between sludgy riffs, stoner grooves, crushing heaviness, and faster, more aggressive sounds. Whether you prefer your music crawling at a glacial pace or hitting like a freight train, there should be something here to leave a mark.
And with a first-year festival, there’s a certain excitement in seeing a new event carve out its own place in the heavy music scene.
Two Nights. Ten Bands. No Shortage of Volume.
Friday, November 20, kicks things off with Heavy Trip, Trenchraid, Druin, Hushed, and Morsh, setting the stage for a night built around weight, grit, and plenty of distortion.
Among Friday’s lineup, Druin and Hushed are two names worth keeping on your radar. Both bring their own presence to the heavier end of the spectrum, making their appearances part of what gives this opening night its appeal. With a bill that moves through different corners of heavy music, Friday offers an opportunity to catch these acts in a setting designed for loud amps and an equally loud crowd.
Saturday, November 21, keeps the pressure on with Anciients, Burnt Lung, The Subteraliens, Bong Witch, and Defect.
Thats two nights of awesome bands and good times!

A New Festival With Its Own Identity
The first edition of a festival is always an opportunity to establish something lasting. HEAVY FEST arrives with a straightforward mission: bring heavy music together under one roof and give fans two nights to experience it at full volume.
The lineup reflects that spirit. From the sludgier end of the spectrum to stoner rock, doom-influenced sounds, and more aggressive metal, the festival isn’t limiting itself to one narrow definition of heavy. Instead, it brings together bands with different approaches to distortion, dynamics, and sheer sonic weight.
That variety is part of the appeal. Fans can discover a new favourite, catch a familiar name, or find themselves drawn into a band they hadn’t planned on seeing. For the artists, it’s also a chance to share a bill with other acts operating in the same heavy-music ecosystem.
With Heavy Phuzz Productions and Trickster’s Hideout behind the event, HEAVY FEST is setting out to make its first year count.
Mark Your Calendar
If heavy music is your thing, HEAVY FEST deserves a spot on your November calendar. Come for the riffs, stay for the atmosphere, and make sure your ears are prepared for two nights of serious volume.
